OfficeSuite Professional 7 reviews
Unlike its predecessor, the Office Suite professional app for Android ranks among the cream of the top of the best apps for Android. This app has sought to enhance Android's rather laid back office document support. Office Suite features an integrated file browser that lets you view Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint files on your device, associated Google accounts and SD card. It allows you to create and edit Excel and Word files, interestingly, it does not support saving these created and edited files to Google Docs. Saving files is restricted to your device and its SD card.
In the documents viewer class, Office Suite performs rather well with the main cloud services, allowing fast syncing and document management. Users do not have to go through the headache of looking for recently opened files as they can be found in the 'Recent Documents'. However, the app does not explicitly point out which recently used documents are stored locally. The app's file browser has an excellent feature that allows you to choose the default location that you want to save your files when you first run the app. This comes as a breath of fresh air from other apps that offer little or no help in navigating the complex maze of folders in your Android device. Another feature worth mentioning is the voice search.
Customer support is properly supported by this app. In addition to the general user guide, found on their homepage, there are individual guides for Spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents. This not withstanding, there is a direct link to customer support provided in the application. This comprehensive documentation is quite rare for such apps, thus, it is worth mentioning.
For English language users, the Office Suit app features a dictionary feature that can be accessed by navigating the dictionary list from the menu or by clicking on any word in an open document and selecting 'Spellchecker'. The upside is that the dictionary is the Oxford dictionary which is among the most reputable names in the industry, the downside is that it costs a tidy sum, approximately thrice the price of the application. It also has a Google search add on which is free. This offers many users the convenience of searching for a word directly from the document in question, a feature that greatly saves time.
Generally, the Office Suite professional app for android has gained a good reputation in its niche, with these new features, it is bound to give users the ultimate office experience.
