Terraria is an intuitive Android application developed by 505 Games. It delicately balances old fashioned adventure with sandbox creativity. It has gained popularity as a 2 dimensional Minecraft, but offers a unique experience when you look beyond the basic descriptions. This game's plot revolves around crafting new items, combat and exploring new territories, basically, the more you uncover, the more sophisticated your abilities become. The world is stocked with hidden treasures and breakable blocks with the players role being exploration, crafting and creating new items and going deeper inside the game world to unearth more surprises. The main objective of the game is to survive and evade the dangerous creatures that will give you a run for your combat skills.

The game begins in an open 2 dimensional field next to a guide explaining the instructions such as the trees that you are supposed to chop. The player has an inventory containing basic equipment such as a pickaxe, sword and an axe. The pickaxe is mainly used for digging as this is what you will mainly be doing in the game as soon as the necessity for ore and precious minerals underground rises. The axe is used for cutting down trees and walls. Trees are very important as they provide wood which is important for building houses, furniture, ladders and torches among other equipment. The sword is imperative for eliminating creatures such as demon eyes, zombies, skeletons and other creatures that roam the darkness. Apart from this there are caves and secret dungeons to be discovered. The underground world of Terraria is littered with treasure chests and relics to be explored.
